"The Maze" is a story about the lies we tell ourselves in sleepless nights, the contradicting isolation and seclusion of the people we so desperately want in our lives, of the voices in our heads that keep on trapping us in the same devious patterns, the euphoria of mythologizing a new relationship and the responsibility we burden on those around us.

It is the disappointment we wade through when our hopes and expectations are inevitably shattered. With all this comes the realization that we cannot recognize our own reflection anymore, that the futile attempt of maintaining a steady image of ourselves has failed. The labyrinth of our own thoughts and actions has changed us.

In the end there is nothing else to do but to reassemble the shards and walk through the maze once more.
